The Executive Master of Accounting with a concentration in Professional Accounting Program starts three times a year: Spring, Summer and Fall; applications are accepted year-round. Please note that application deadlines may differ from those published in the graduate catalog.
While there is not a specific end date to apply, the Executive Education department recommends submission of applications by early July for the Fall semester, mid-November for the Spring semester, and late April for the Summer semester. The Executive Accounting and Tax programs are on a rolling admission cycle, and qualified candidates may be considered for admission until the program start date or deferred to the subsequent term/semester. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure admission into the program.
To be considered for admission, applicants must:
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or the international equivalent.
- Have a competitive grade point average on all previous college work, though emphasis is placed on the last 60 credits earned.
- If you earned your undergraduate degree from an institution outside of the United States, you can have your transcripts evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or use FAU’s internal evaluation service. - A competitive TOEFL or IELTS score may be required if the applicant’s native language is not English.
