The Executive Master of Accounting with a concentration in Professional Accounting Program starts three times a year: Spring, Summer and Fall; applications are accepted year-round.  Please note that application deadlines may differ from those published in the graduate catalog.

While there is not a specific end date to apply, the Executive Education department recommends submission of applications by early July for the Fall semester, mid-November for the Spring semester, and late April for the Summer semester. The Executive Accounting and Tax programs are on a rolling admission cycle, and qualified candidates may be considered for admission until the program start date or deferred to the subsequent term/semester. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure admission into the program.

To be considered for admission, applicants must:

  1. Have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or the international equivalent.
  2. Have a competitive grade point average on all previous college work, though emphasis is placed on the last 60 credits earned.
  3. If you earned your undergraduate degree from an institution outside of the United States, you can have your transcripts evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or use FAU’s internal evaluation service.
