The Executive Master of Taxation is a degree program offered by the School of Accounting Executive Programs (SOAEP), a department in FAU’s AACSB-accredited and nationally recognized College of Business. The program is designed with the busy tax professional’s schedule in mind. Cutting edge technology in online learning offers students convenience and flexibility while pursuing their education. Students may complete the program through Web-based distance learning without ever visiting campus. Students can stream the lectures live over the Internet to their PC, Mac, or mobile device, or they can watch the lectures at any time during the week. Students that desire a more traditional classroom experience may participate in the optional live lectures held on Saturday mornings in the state-of-the-art Davie West Building on the FAU Davie Campus.
No Classes During Tax Season!
Students can earn their degrees in just over 2 years (seven semesters) while maintaining quality professional and personal lives. To accommodate working professionals during the hectic tax seasons, no courses are offered during the spring semesters. Therefore, tax students do not need to worry about balancing demanding work schedules with course assignment deadlines.
