Testimonials

“My degree has certified and confirmed me as a professional in the field of forensic accounting. The classes provided me with a strong foundation in various aspects (audit, law, accounting, IT, etc.) that have assisted me in my day to day activities as a forensic accountant. Without the knowledge obtained and the degree I have earned, I do not believe I would be as far along in my career as I am.”

Students have the unique opportunity to learn from a faculty of professors and industry experts to integrate academic research with real life practice. Our faculty members and guest speakers publish articles and textbooks in forensic accounting. Students also benefit by learning from practitioners who have firsthand experience in expert witness testimony and active investigative work.

By the end of the program, students have a solid knowledge of fraud investigation and prevention, dispute resolution, litigation support, valuation, expert testimony, money-laundering investigation and other types of criminal investigation. In the collaboratively designed and taught writing course, students gain abilities in critical thinking and communication skills that involve investigative reading and effective writing while studying forensic accounting content.

SOAEP has a diverse student body comprising students from 35 states and several countries (Japan, France, Kenya, Bahamas, and Jamaica).

A welcoming environment and high quality support services help students balance educational success with busy life schedules. Throughout the program, students receive comprehensive academic assistance and 24/7 IT technical support assistance. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
