Methods of Payment:

Students whose method of tuition payment is federal financial aid should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Most students who apply for Federal Financial Aid (Stafford Loan) via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are eligible for $20,500 per academic year in loans. The awarded amount is divided into two semesters – fall and spring. Once awarded, the funds can be declined, decreased, or accepted in the amount awarded. The amount of tuition covered by the financial aid is deferred until the aid award is disbursed.

View the FAU Financial Aid database for additional information.

Our office requires a copy of your company’s tuition reimbursement policy. We will provide information to you required by your Department of Human Resources.

If your employer is willing to pay your tuition directly to FAU without grade requirements, you will need to provide us a “Letter of Credit” or “Payment Voucher” from your employer authorizing us to bill them.

A payment plan of two-installments is provided for students who select the self-pay method. You may contact your Financial Aid Coordinator if you wish to split the tuition into three installments.

Students using the GI Bill must complete the VA Certification Request form with all required documents. Upon approval, an FAU VA Official will certify eligibility for funding each semester after registering for degree-seeking courses and based on continued eligibility. Refer to www.fau.edu/vets for further details, instructions, and resources.

Refer here to review the fellowships and awards offered to FAU graduate students. All available scholarships geared towards graduate students can be utilized and applied towards the graduate degree as well.

The university accepts private, credit-based lending to assist students with covering full or partial tuition and fees.
