The Executive Master of Taxation program has been offered by the AACSB-accredited College of Business at Florida Atlantic University since Fall 2002.

The program is open to students from all educational backgrounds with at least a bachelor’s degree. Students without an accounting degree may be required to take foundational courses.

All students in the Executive Master of Taxation program take courses especially designed and delivered for the program by expert faculty and outside professionals. In addition to a rigorous examination and analysis of technical tax topics and tax policy, students learn to write strategically effective reports and how to advocate on behalf of clients (e.g., before the IRS).

Students enrolled in the program are required to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to successfully graduate.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), students who require reasonable accommodations due to a disability to properly execute coursework must register with the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) – in Boca Raton, SU 133 (561-297-3880); in Davie, LA 240 (954-236-1222); in Jupiter, SR 110 (561-799-8010); or at the Treasure Coast, CO 117 (772-873-6682) – and follow all OSD procedures .
