FAU’s School of Accounting Executive Programs’ student Onassis Vilaire shares her exciting experiences and career opportunities since starting her Masters of Accounting with Concentration in Forensic Accounting in Fall 2014.
Onassis has had an amazing first year in SOAEP: she attended the 2014 FAU Career Fair, landed several interviews with major firms, accepted an internship that turned into a full-time position, was an ACFE Global Conference scholarship recipient where she became more determined to become a forensic accountant, got promoted to a risk advisory consulting position at her firm, and came back to FAU’s 2015 Career Fair as a representative for her firm and SOAEP.
